Àlex Rodríguez Bacardit

I come from a humble, working-class family from Barcelona, so I have never taken money for granted. Some years ago, I learnt about healthy lifestyle businesses.

In 2014, my two best friends and I founded MarsBased, a high-end development consultancy to make things differently. We are a specialised in Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Angular and React, and we also organise the Startup Grind events & annual conferences in Barcelona to mix business and tech.

Nowadays, we are 20-people strong, plus six contractors, with clients in three different continents. Alive and kicking.
